Contributions to this campaign are governed by the Louisiana Campaign Finance Disclosure Act. Under Louisiana law, the office of City Court Judge is a “district office,” and contributions from any one person to the candidate (including the principal campaign committee and any subsidiary committee) are limited to $6,000 per election. Primary and general elections are treated as separate elections under Louisiana’s contribution-limit rules.
